Share a Kiss, but Don't Share a Toothbrush
It's fun to share things with someone you love, but avoid sharing a tooth brush. When you share dental hygiene tools you also share germs and bacteria.
Brighten Your Smile
Having pearly white teeth can make kissing someone that much more attractive. At Lee Branch Dental Studio, we offer whitening treatments for long-term results, but if you need a quick fix for Valentine's Day grab some whitening strips at your local drugstore. Also, make a point to avoid dark-colored drinks like coffee and red wine.
Cavities, Be Warned!
Certain bacteria in the mouth can cause cavities. If your mouth is not properly clean, you can share that bacteria in a kiss. We can't say it enough, regular oral health maintenance like brushing your teeth twice a day can help prevent many of the issues we have talked about so far.
Be Prepared
No one wants to be caught about to kiss someone and be thinking in the back of their mind, "Oh my goodness I hope my breath doesn't smell or I hope nothing is stuck in my teeth."
Be prepared and have sugarless gum, mouthwash, tooth picks, floss and other pocket-size mouth fresheners on hand.
